What is the Connectivity Advisory Board?
The Connectivity Advisory Board was set up in 2018 as a platform for members to talk about ideas, trends and strategies around topics that impact our mutual business. By increasing dialogue around continuous improvements that can help us evolve with market trends, we can drive growth and solve problems together.
The board serves as a great way to ensure we’re doing the right thing for our partners, while gaining insights and aligning our plans with milestones in the industry.
How is the Connectivity Advisory Board organised?
The Connectivity Advisory Board is a commercial benefit we offer to our Premier partners. Board members are selected representatives of active Premier partners in the Connectivity Partner Programme.
Based on the feedback from the previous board, the set up and structure of the board will remain the same. We’ll continue to bring representatives of different parts of the industry closer together, and discussions will include commercial, product and technical considerations. This way we can cover a 360-degree view of the hospitality technology solution industry.
The 2024–2026 Connectivity Advisory Board consists of two boards – one focusing on conversations that cover a commercial lens and another on product and technical lens. Each of the two boards is made up of 8 to 10 members, with even representation across regions, types of software technology and property segments. This structure allows us to get a comprehensive view of the industry’s needs and trends.
How often does the Connectivity Advisory Board meet?
The Connectivity Advisory Board meets once a quarter, with a combination of virtual and in-person meetings. Board members commit to actively participating for two full calendar years, from 1 April 2024 until 31 March 2026.
