We have launched the los_pricing v1.1, a new and improved version of the los_pricing endpoint. This enhancement is part of our ongoing efforts in the 2024 API Modernisation Project, which aims to improve our APIs and ensure a smooth and secure experience for properties using them.
The los_pricing endpoint is the first of four endpoints that will be optimised this year.
What’s new in los_pricing v1.1?
The los_pricing endpoint is an existing endpoint in the Rates and Availability API. It enables properties to set pricing for their inventory using the LOS pricing model. We’re launching a new version (v1.1), which features the following improvements:
- A standardised treatment of HTTP error codes
- Improved latency for a faster response
- Improved error messages
What do you need to do?
As we launch los_pricing v1.1, it’s important to note that these updates are breaking changes. To ensure uninterrupted access to the endpoint, you’ll have to migrate to the new version (v1.1) before the deprecation and sunset of the older version (v1.0).
Here's what you need to do:
- Update the header ‘Accept-Version’ with the new version number ‘1.1’, along with the existing URL, as depicted below.
- Once the version number is changed, you can start testing the updates.
- Reach out to Connectivity Support if you face any issues.
- If you don’t face any issues, you can continue using the new version in the production environment.

What will happen to the older version?
The older version of the endpoint, los_pricing v1.0, will be deprecated on 1 April 2024 and sunset on 10 June 2024.

Deprecation means that we’ll no longer develop new features and improvements of los_pricing v1.0. Once the endpoint is sunset, it will no longer be available for you to use. From this point onwards:
- If you request the old version without indicating the version in the header, you’ll automatically be redirected to los_pricing v1.1.
- If you request the new version by indicating ‘1.1’ in the header, you’ll continue receiving a response from los_pricing v1.1.
- If you request the old version by indicating ‘1.0’ in the header, you’ll receive an error.
